La Patrona was apparently made in 2013. It tells the story of a young woman Gabriela Suárez (Aracely Arambula) trying to survive in a a man's world. The world being the profession of gold mining means that becoming The Boss is no easy matter especially when she is opposed by Antonia Guerra (Bach) who is the epitome of the glamourous bad woman.In fact she was so good she won the award for 'Best Villainess' in the Telenovela awards.Before getting on to her crimes and actions here are some screen shots of Antonia earlier in the series before her criminality entered full swing.
In fact there were several ladies toting firearms in the series. Here are some of the highlights featuring miscellaneous scenes before the final few episodes.
Gabriela (the heroine) also featured some great gun toting scenes. One of the best features the heroine Gabriela threatening a bad guy with his own silenced pistol. Here is Gabriela in action.
During the final episodes it is Gabriela who takes central stage. Determined to make herself La Patrona she increases her scheming to include kidnap and murder and uses the hostage situation to lure her rival Gabriel to the gold mine so that she can kill her and take control.
