Kahiin Kissi Roz - Ramola Sikand.- Part 1

Possibly the most evil, cunning and conniving woman to appear in an Indian drama series Ramola Sikand (Sudha Chandran) will forever have a special place in the hearts of all of us who sat through 700+ episodes of Kahiin Kissi Roz. I have detailed the early history of this series plus outlined some of the other major characters elsewhere in this blog. Now is the time to concentrate on the lynch pin of the whole series.

Ramola the Huntress With regularity Ramola could often be seen prowling through buildings, old houses, driving to secret rendezvous, hunting down Shaina, or indeed anyone else who was a threat to her schemes..Here are some of her memorable scenes where gun in hand, she is searching for something or someone which would reveal her nefarious deeds.

Ramola looking evil. Here are some of my random  best moments of Ramola just looking evil. The sly, knowing look at the viewer, the cigarette smoking vamp etc. Sudra Chandran could epitomise pure evil.

Kahiin Kissi Roz - Ramola Sikand.- Part 2

Ramola in murder mode. Ramola had a harsh way of dealing with those who betrayed her. Any associate, family member or colleague who tried to double cross her was soon regretting his/her action

Probably her most set upon colabarators was Vikram. His main loyalties was to Sunaina and he often found himself torn between these two powerful women. For his troubles and his betrayals he was threatened, tied up and finally killed by Ramola whlist Shalini frantically looked for him.

Ramola and her daughters in law As previously explained Ramola had a fractious relationship with all her daughters in law. Here are some of the highlights of her various confrontations with some of them.

Shaina and Ramola had many confrontations - the more memorable shown below.. Shaina was twice immolated, once with her entire family in a quite shocking scene. Both Shaina and Kunal were reincarnated as other characters and ultimately survived until the end of t he series.

Nisha was killed by Ramola after she convinced her to confront Shaina in a deserted industrial estate.

Suniana was another in a continual rivailry with Ramola.  There's a great mexican stand off between the two but Sunaina made the fatal mistake of trusting Ramola once too often when she thought they were going to kill Shaina. As a result she was quite brutally stabbed and poor Shaina was (again) the apparent murderer, which also happened with the Nisha killing.
