Kahiin KIssi Roz - Ramola and Shaina (The early days)

As explained in previous articles, the main story line in this 714 episode series is is the ongoing vendetta between Ramola Sikand (Sudha Chandran) and her daughter in law Shaina (Mouli Ganguly) who has the misfortune to be married to Ramola's son Kunal (Yash Tonk) who Ramola secretly despised too. In general it was Ramola who held the upper (and gun) hand but not always.

To revisit a scene from a previous blog article Ramola's first overt act against Shaina was to hunt her down in an apartment block along with one of Ramola's helpers.

Once Shaina became wise to Ramola's intentions it was her turn to act the bad girl. First she coerced  Ramola in to taking her own life though of course that never happened.

 

 Next Shaina donned a bob wig and terrorised Ramola in a typical soap opera device of a dual and mistaken identities.

After these initial confrontations it was Ramola who triumphed by immolating Shaina, Kunal and her children in a particularly shocking episode. However being a Hindi serial Shaina was reincarnated and in later episodes they again locked horns. These confrontations will be covered in later blogs.
