I think it must be some kind of youth re-enactment but I have always had a particular fondness for this particular episode of the British TV series The Persuaders. This series was a light hearted action series starring Roger Moore and Tony Curtis and pretty good undemanding entertainment it was too. This particular episode guest starred Sinead Cussack as Jenny, a young heiress being threatened and deprived of her inheritance by her long lost elder brother. Moore & Curtis naturally ride to the rescue of this damsel in distress only to discover that it is her that is the imposter, the brother is the legitimate heir. Her solution is to kill her brother in the family stately home..
After having a pretty good attempt to kill her brother she starts stalking her wounded prey through the house. Only the timely intervention of The Persuaders prevents her finishing her work.
At this point most episodes would finish then and there. However Jenny was made of sterner stuff and had to be restrained a second time when she recovered her firearm when her co-conspirator appeared on the scene.
