From Beijing with love

I think it was probably the DVD cover spoofing the Timothy Dalton James Bond film 'The Living Daylights' which first got me interested in this film.

This 1994 Hong Kong film charts the (mis)adventures of an incompetent secret Agent (Stephen Chow) as he tries to thwart the evil mastermind Golden Eye. Unfortunately he is teamed up with one of Golden Eye's agents (Anita Yuen). Despite her best efforts her attempts to kill the Chow character she fails and eventually falls in love with him. However other assassins are after him including the gorgeous Pauline Chan who seems a lot more competent than Yuen in the assassination department. The film is all very silly, at one point Yuen ends up shooting herself multiple times as she tries to use Chow's backfiring gun to kill him.Not a film of any significance  but is an enjoyable way to spend 90 minutes and Pauline Chan is a lovely assassin.
